The Discover Sailing Day is an opportunity for a FREE sail with an experienced club sailor.
All boats and safety equipment are provided by the Club.

Learn to Sail at Mordialloc Sailing Club: We run Sail Training in our regular sailing season which starts the first week of October and runs till the end of April. The club usually holds two courses each sailing season consisting of 6 to 10 sessions on Saturday Mornings from 8:30am until 11:30am before the regular afternoon club racing.The first of these commences in October and concludes at the end of November and the second commences in February and concludes in April. Sessions will not be run on weekends aligned to Public holidays.The Mordialloc Sailing Club’s Sail Training Program aims to provide a bridge for people of all ages to get into and enjoy sailing. Our hope is that trainees will continue to enjoy the sport and participate in our program of club racing or social sailing.
Discover Sailing Centre: Mordialloc Sailing Club is an accredited Australian Sailing “Discover Sailing Centre” and caters for kids, juniors and adults from beginners through to advanced levels. The programs include off-water theory plus on-water sailing using club boats (also known as dinghies). We run three Sail Training Programs.
Tackers: Tackers provides kids (7-12 years old) with a fun and safe experience. Mordialloc Sailing Club is an accredited provider of the Tackers Sail Training Program. Click here for information on Tackers.
Dinghy Program: Dinghy Sail Training programs cater for both juniors (13+ years old) and adults from beginners to advanced levels. It includes off-water theory plus on-water sailing using club boats (Pacers and Lasers). Click here for information on the Dinghy Program.
Windsurfing: MSC runs a Start Windsurfing course for Juniors (15+ years old) and adults. Each course has a maximum of 2 participants with 6 sessions at 2 hours each (9:00am to 11:00am).
