More details below:

Access to Mordialloc Sailing club is via the Laneway at 12A Bowman Street, Aspendale (on the south side of the Mordialloc Creek) with lots of parking.

It is recommended you allow at least 1.5  -2 hours if you want to get out on the water.

We look forward to welcoming you and showing you how fun, safe, accessible, and affordable sailing is. Participating at a Discover Sailing Day is a fantastic way to have a great day out with your partner, friends, work colleagues or family at the Mordialloc Sailing Club, and even enjoy a short sail. All boats and safety equipment are provided by the Club.

We welcome people with disability to join us for Discover Sailing Day. However, please note that our volunteers are unable to provide personal support, such as lifting participants into boats. If you require physical assistance, we kindly ask that you bring a carer along. Please ensure that both you and your carer register for the event.

If you're unsure about the assistance you might need or what support our volunteers can provide (eg: MSC has a simple beach/sand compatible wheel chair) , please don't hesitate to contact the club for more information.

You’ll have the option to go out for a short sail with an experienced sailor, have a look around the club facilities, and find out about the programs and courses available. There is something for the whole family and even kids as young as five years old can sail when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Discover Sailing Day is free to attend and all boats and safety equipment is provided by the Club. All you need to bring is clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet, sun screen, and a hat. Shoes with non-marking soles are preferred.
